And now begins the Death Watch season 8 of "Game of Thrones"

Why: Jorah received the steel sword Valyrian Heartsbane from Samwell Tarly (John Bradley) in Episode 2, which means that she may face some White Walkers quite soon.

Obit early: It’s been a long road for Jorah la Andal. Before the series began, he sold poachers to the slavers and fled Westeros to avoid being beheaded for it. Then he spied for Varys (Conleth Hill), was discovered and banished by Daenerys (Emilia Clarke), hired in grayscale, found a treatment and finally returned to Dany’s inner circle when she King of the Friendzone, giving you some (last?) advice. Once he lost the honor of carrying his family’s sword, and after receiving the sword from Sam’s family, his story seems to be coming to an end.

Odds of dying: Khal is more than maybe.

Why: Theon returned to Winterfell to fight for the Starks once again after betraying his confidence and invading his home on behalf of the Greyjoys in Season 2.

Obit earlyAfter being raised with the Stark children in Winterfell, Theon decided to take sides with his father and betray the King in the North, Robb (Richard Madden). He invaded Winterfell and burned two innocent children alive, pretending they were Bran and Rickon (Art Parkinson), before Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) finally made him prisoner, forcing him to become “Reek”. After several rounds of physical and verbal torture in the hands of Ramsay, Theon realized the true weight of what he had done and then helped Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) escape the clutches of Bolton’s bastard. He fought with his sister, Yara (Gemma Whelan), for a few seasons, but soon came to appreciate his roots Stark and Ironborn. He is now in the North, ready to fight for the Starks once again. Only this bow is sufficient proof that Theon will die protecting the three-eyed Raven, also known as Bran, in a battle with the Night King and his army.

Odds of dying: “What is dead may never die.” That said, R.I.P., Theon.

Why: Jaime was granted permission to fight for life in Winterfell and even the knight Brienne de Tarth (Gwendoline Christie), solidifying his hard fight as a man of honor … who is probably going to die.

Obit early: At the beginning of the series, Jaime was definitely not a virtuous man. He was famous for stabbing the Mad King Aerys Targaryen in the back after swearing to protect him and then pushing a 10-year-old Bran out the window, leaving the child paralyzed. But, particularly thanks to a long trip with Brienne, Jaime eventually becomes a better man, a person who understands what loyalty really means. Finally, he decided to leave his sister and lover Cersei (Lena Headey) in the dust and fight for the survival of Westeros along with his former opponents. And it is transcendental.

Odds of dying: Bran told Jaime that he was not sure if there would be a “after”.

Why: If you are booking your Carnival Cruise on the beach before the big battle, you are probably not there.

Early obits: Gray Worm and Missandei entered the scene in Season 3, as a result of the sacking of Astapor by Dany, and since then they have become two of their most trusted advisers. Even though Gray Worm was not immaculate, part of a group of eunuch warriors, the couple also found love in a place without hope. To be honest, everything is just as well happy. Nobody should be so happy in “Game of Thrones”, and that is why their trips may come to an end.

Odds of dying: Do not make any non-refundable payments on that cow and yet.

Why: Having waited years to feel seen and respected, Brienne is a gentleman by Jaime in an emotional ceremony in Episode 2, making his death seem inevitable.

Obit early: In “Game of thrones”, Brienne is one of the only characters who have never been more than loyal, first to Renly Baratheon (Gethin Anthony), then to Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley) and now to Sansa, as the honor demanded. She is a warrior unlike any other in Westeros, remember when she beat the dog of the Hound (Rory McCann)? – And without a doubt he will go down defending those he loves.

Odds of dying: “In the name of the warrior, I ask you to be brave”.

Why: There has been a lot of talk, and inside, about the crypts of the last two episodes. Everything seems to allude to the idea that something big is about to fall below Winterfell, which could involve a lot of dead Starks.

Unless these characters find a way to save not only the children but themselves, the destruction of the White Walker will be much larger than anticipated. (Instead of fighting, he ran a lot, but you understand). Now, he is making weapons for the North to defend all of humanity, and will fight alongside his new love, Arya.

Odds of dying“We’re probably going to die soon,” Arya tells him, so 10/10.

Why: Beric It is used mainly as a secondary character these days, so it seems that his sword of fire is about to become extinct.

Obit early: Beric directed the Brotherhood without Banners in previous seasons of the program, even ending up on Arya’s list at one point after selling his now friend with Gendry benefits to Melisandre. Why: You can not sing such a sad and beautiful song about a montage of characters (possibly) addressing his death and hoping to get out alive.

Damned quote: Sing “I never wanted to leave” a million times.

Obit early: Podrick began as Tyrion’s squire during the War of the Five Kings, even saving his life during the Battle of Blackwater. As a gift, Tyrion took him to a brothel, where apparently the employees liked him so much that they did not want him to pay his time. (Precisely why it remains one of the biggest mysteries of the program). Later he joined Brienne’s service, learning to fight under his command and proving to be a faithful companion. However, as Brienne pointed out, he still had much to learn before the Battle of Winterfell.

Odds of dying: It seems we’re never going to find out why women like Pod so much …

Why: She’s definitely going to hunt the biggest White Walker she can find.
